Can our credit union join other networks?

If you outsource your ATMs to CU ATM Services, you can continue to participate as an issuer in other regional and international ATM and POS programs. We offer competitive pricing if you decide to join the CO-OP ATM network through CU Anytime. There are no restrictions on what other networks you may participate in, including other surcharge free ATM networks.

What networks will our ATMs participate in?

If you outsource your terminal driving to CU ATM Services, we participate in multiple networks for your ATMs. We ensure that your own cardholders will not be surcharged at CU ATM Services driven machines. In addition, our ATMs are part of the CO-OP ATM network as well as other regional and international networks. Most cards will work at any CU ATM Services driven machine.

What branding is available?

Your credit union may decide what branding is available at the ATM. If your credit union joins the CU Anytime network, the ATMs will be branded as CU Anytime ATMs.

Can we outsource just some of our ATM fleet?

Yes. CU ATM Services will work with you to decide which locations are best outsourced to CU ATM Services. You may decide to outsource only some or all of your ATM locations to CU ATM Services.

What security and compliance programs do you offer through CU ATM Services?

CU ATM Services understands the importance of operating in a safe manner. CU ATM Services undergoes annual SOC auditing and offers SOC reporting to our credit union clients. Our staff is rigorously trained and tested on security and compliance regulations.

For ATM driving clients, we offer the ability to move your ATM network off of your credit union’s network and systems so that CU ATM Services is responsible for the security and compliance programs for your ATMs. This includes installing and updating the appropriate security software at each ATM. Your credit union can rely on CU ATM Services to operate the machines following industry standard requirements.

For ATM Managed Services, what things can be managed by CU ATM Services?

We will work directly with your credit union to determine the best options to outsource to CU ATM Services. We can manage your entire ATM operations, or you can decide to outsource any subset of ATM operations. A typical setup would include ATM driving as well as first and second level maintenance support. Credit unions may also decide to join the CU Anytime CUSO and CU ATM Services will completely manage all areas of your ATM program.

What guidelines do you follow for item proofing?

Each credit union may determine the guidelines that we follow for item proofing. You may decide on what checks we need to review based on your own risk tolerance. For checks reviewed as part of your ATM or shared branching network, we will use the rules established by the network in coordination with your credit union’s guidelines.

Do you have your own item processing platform?

CU ATM Services offers our proofing services on various platforms. We utilize our own platform for proofing and can accept X9 files to process your images. However, many of our credit unions use platforms from various companies. We will work with whatever platform your credit union has selected. We are here to help reduce your operating costs by leveraging the knowledge and expertise of our staff.

Can CU ATM Services save our credit union money?

Yes. For item proofing and ATM processing, CU ATM Services provides economy of scale by collaborating with credit unions across the country. We have developed efficient processes and deep knowledge that can assist your credit union’s bottom line. The credit union industry is all about collaboration and cooperation to improve the member’s experience and financial health. CU ATM Services is proud to be part of the credit union difference.
